A little experiment in Blender to show how different focal length affect the face! We can see from the results that: • Wider lenses exaggerate depth: noses appear larger, ears fall back, faces stretch, and more of the background is in focus and visible. • As focal length increases, features compress and proportions stabilise. • The visual change also becomes less dramatic the longer you go: notice that the jump from 135 -> 200mm is very subtle compared to 12 -> 35mm.
