50 years ago today, Batman and Robin teamed up with Scooby-Doo and the gang on “The New Scooby-Doo Movies”. Batman has joined forces with Scooby and the gang on many occasions, beginning shortly after Scooby-Doo’s 1969 debut. While DC’s Batman comics returned to their more Gothic nature, the animated television of the time were still reminiscent of the POP Art aesthetic of the 1960s. Due to this, it was fitting that on September 16, 1972, Batman and Robin were guest stars on the Hanna-Barbera sh
