Understanding the Meaning We Create in Our Lives

As a bilingual family, not every day is easy. Just the other night at dinner, my daughter was upset that I wasn’t using my voice. She understands ASL, but English feels more natural to her at times. I know this isn’t unique to ASL families and that many bilingual families experience this too.
