The heavy construction vehicle involved in a police shooting on Sunday was taken from a privately operated site, according to the City of Henderson. Police responded to the 600 block of North Water Street near Boulder Highway in response to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, officers identified the vehicle as a construction front loader. The driver attempted to run over officers multiple times and subsequently rammed two police patrol vehicles, leading to the officer-involved shooting, police said.
