Nationally protected Siberian Ibex have been spotted again on the snowy cliffs of Tekes County, Xinjiang. With their robust and agile bodies, they climb and leap on the steep rock walls as if on flat ground, staging a show of “speed and passion” in the snow-capped mountains. Ibex typically inhabit the bare rock areas of plateaus at altitudes of 3,500 to 6,000 meters.
