Great blue herons are known to go big or go home. These lanky birds are excellent hunters but can sometimes be a poor judge of size. They will occasionally choke to death on a fish that is too big to swallow. Luckily, this fish was the perfect fit. Great blue herons have an insatiable appetite and can eat a wide variety of prey.
