The name's Bede... James Bede. The BD-5 was a homebuilt, propeller aircraft designed by James “Jim” Bede. Ours is in the markings of the jet version BD-5J featured in the 1983 James Bond film “Octopussy.” The BD-5J still holds the Guinness World Record for smallest jet though the design dates back to the early 70s.
