Matty the Bear is the official mascot of Zermatt Utah and was created by the resort's founder, Dr. Robert Fuller, in tribute to a local legend. Swiss descendant and Midway, Utah resident Henry Kohler brought smiles to the faces of many people by dressing up as a bear every year during Midway's local Swiss Days celebration, playing his accordion and singing folk songs in German.
