Snake feeding time!⁠ 😋⁠ ⁠ WPC's Ojibway Prairie Reptile Recovery (OPPREC) Team has been bulking up our neonate Butler’s garter snakes for the long cold winter. These newborn snakes were captured from the wild and brought to OPPREC headquarters in order to give them a boost in food and shelter to increase their chances of surviving their first winter 💚⁠ ⁠ Come spring, they will be returned to the wild and hopefully go on to bolster the at risk population in Essex County!⁠ ⁠ Twenty-seven neonate
