Not doing so good. This Kodiak bear was walking the old game trail that cuts across our front yard yesterday when our dog intercepted him and held him at bay. We called our dog back to us and let him pass. Though the video is grainy, you can see that one side of his muzzle is torn off and that he’s pretty thin. Despite this, and the fact that he could probably smell the meal I had just cooked in the cabin, he didn’t linger in our yard or harass us, but kept moving down the trail. I wondered if h
