It’s a frog filled weekend as we round out our Wildlife of the Week highlight of the African bullfrog! These frogs have a large mouth and their rule of thumb is that they will eat anything that fits in their mouth including invertebrates, lizards, birds and even small mammals. During the rainy seasons when bullfrogs emerge from their burrows, they will breed and females will produce anywhere from 3 to 4 thousand eggs that will develop into tadpoles just two days later.
