On this day, in the Second Infantry Division history; 'On February 1st, 1951, during the Korean War, Master Sergeant Hubert L. Lee's platoon was outnumbered. With his platoon leader wounded, MSG Lee assumed command and led his men to hold back the enemy. Despite injuries to both his legs, MSG Lee led the platoon to regain their position, ultimately causing the enemy to withdraw. For his brave actions that day, Master Sergeant Lee was awarded the Medal of Honor.' | 2nd Infantry Division
