Dec 18, 2021 · I’ve known some people that got their car for MSRP, others that had to pay a dealer markup, while others didn’t have to pay a markup but had to buy a Porsche Design watch or some other stuff to get an allocation (I know you aren’t getting an allocation, but just another example of shenanigans right now).

May 1, 2023 · Porsche's recommended maintenance is a lot stricter than what you may be used to. Oil changes are ~300-400, brakes a few grand (and they say to replace rotors with each pad change), tires will be more expensive and the PDK service is a bit over a grand.

Jan 5, 2022 · 9PA owner since 2008. A Turbo. Coolant pipes were recalled. Mine burst at 63k. Covered by Porsche. Also had my T-Pipe let go. This is the coolant/heater exchange. Not covered by Porsche. Had a air suspension fault under warranty. Shares parts with VW. At 97k now. You seem like the perfect candidate for Cayenne ownership.

Jan 10, 2022 · I’m a poor Porsche owner too. I pulled the trigger on a similar 996, although mine was a 2001 not a 2003, so older and with a smaller engine. I had a PPI done. I shopped til I found one I liked. I drove it home 1,000 miles and still drive it regularly 5 years later. I have never regretted buying a Porsche, from my first 924 til this one.

Apr 19, 2023 · Porsche seemed fast and no one really complained (or at least I haven't heard any complains) wich makes me believe it's salvageable with half decent setup but after an hour I got to the point where it sucks on the breaks, and is either good in slow corners or good in fast corners depending on the setup I use.
