Feb 20, 2023 · My PC (Windows 11) says airpods connected but sound still comes out of the PC. I do have the airpods selected in sound settings. When I test the airpods, I do hear the beep. The airpods work fine on my phone. I've tried deleting and re-pairing the airpods and restarting PC many times. My drivers and Windows are up to date.

If I reset and only pair airpods to PC it works fine, but once i pair to the iphone and swap back to Teams ( or in fact any other things that play sound/mic ) it doesn't work. The Airpods Gen 3 has not issues with swapping devices.

"AirPods Stereo" and "AirPods Hands-Free AG Audio". Seeing the latter on the Recording tab, I assumed that was the Microphones on the AirPods. But it's actually both Recording and Playback. It seems "AirPods Stereo" isn't doing anything other than showing up in the Playback list. Solution for me: Change the "AirPods Hands-Free AG Audio" to Default.
