Vikings wide receiver Rondale Moore will miss a second straight season after suffering a devastating left knee injury in Minnesota’s preseason opener against the Texans this past weekend, the team confirmed Tuesday.

The Vikings wide receivers on the roster have had their own issues but so do former Minnesota pass catchers on new teams.

The Vikings announced Tuesday that testing on Moore's left knee confirmed a season-ending injury, without specifying the diagnosis. Moore, who spent his first three years in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, dislocated his right knee during training camp with the Atlanta Falcons in 2024 and never played for them.

Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson will sit out this weekend's preseason game against the New England Patriots and be re-evaluated next week, head coach Kevin O'Connell said Wednesday. The four-time All-Pro has been sidelined since taking himself out of practice on July 24 with a strained left hamstring.
