Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk has revealed that season 3 almost had a drastically different ending -- an ending that might have gone over better with fans still divided over how the hit series wrapped.
The South Korean drama already lost what made it special—and whatever Netflix has cooking with Cate Blanchett is the death knell.
There is no current release date for the Squid Game America spinoff. It's not been confirmed, and doesn't even have a name at this point. However, if it is indeed in production, the earliest we could see it is 2027, roughly two years after Squid Game Season 3.
