The White House is tapping into three Defense Department’s accounts to pay troops this week as the government shutdown stretches on.

Experts say SBA’s suspension of ATI Government Solutions was unusually fast and likely didn’t give the company time to respond to the allegations.

Veterans service organizations told the Senate VA Committee that their ability to help veterans and their families is also impacted by the shutdown.

"The federal government is taking the position that DEI programs violate federal anti-discrimination laws," Guy Brenner said.

"[The Office of Government Ethics]' mission is to ensure ethics across the federal government, the federal employee workforce," John Martin said.

IG nominee Thomas March Bell also wrote that he would provide information to support the President’s and secretary’s "courageous and innovative" changes at HHS.
