Self-described tech workers and founders are petitioning the venture capital company to take disciplinary action over a partner's comments.

Maguire, an avid X poster best known for his investments in SpaceX and xAI, claimed in the controversial X post that Mamdani “comes from a culture that lies about everything” and is willing to lie “if it advances his Islamist agenda.”

Maguire is one of the few individuals from US' tech world who spoke out after the brutal terror attack on Pahalgam. He is now receiving threats for criticising Zohran Mamdani, the New York City mayoral candidate.
