Liverpool has been issued with a third yellow weather warning, while an alert for rain is currently in place. It follows a thunderstorm warning which was lifted at 9pm yesterday evening and a separate thunderstorm warning that will come into force tomorrow. Monday July 21, at 11am and remain active until 9pm.

Across the north of the country, including Greater Manchester, a yellow weather warning for rain is in place on Sunday (July 20). The warning runs from 11am to 10pm, as the region will likely experience showery rain, which could sometimes be heavy and perhaps thundery.

A double weather warning has been issued for North Wales. The Met Office has updated its weather warnings for the next 48 hours. There are two yellow thunderstorm warnings in place for the region. One covers the whole of North Wales while the warning for tomorrow spares the west of the region (maps below).
