A large chunk of the middle part of the country will see wet, potentially stormy weather as a system moves through the Plains.

It has not been your typical Memorial Day weekend weather for Rochester.  In fact, leading up to this holiday, we have had eight days in a row with unseasonably cool weather and the frequency of the rain is much more than we would like.

Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer for many in the United States, but it won’t feel like that in the East leading up to the holiday thanks in part to a rare May nor’easter.

A significant amount of rainfall, ranging from 2 to 6 inches, fell across North Texas over the holiday weekend. It is essential to remain vigilant, as our forecast indicates additional shower and thunderstorm activity over the next 7 days.
