Star winger Matthew Tkachuk still hasn’t decided if he’s going to have surgery to remedy a pair of injuries with the Florida Panthers just under two months away from beginning the 2025-26 NHL season and their quest for a third consecutive Stanley Cup.

Florida Panthers star forward Matthew Tkachuk could miss two to three months if he decides to have surgery on his torn adductor muscle and sports hernia injury, he told ESPN on Friday. The two-time Stanley Cup champion reportedly has not decided yet whether he will have surgery during the offseason for the injuries he sustained in the 4 Nations Face-Off in February.

Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk said he is still undecided whether to get surgery this offseason to address the significant injuries he suffered in the the 4 Nations Face-Off earlier this year.
