Marcelo Gomes da Silva, the 18-year-old Massachusetts high school student who was arrested on his way to volleyball practice last week, was granted bond on Thursday.

Milford High School student Marcelo Gomes da Silva was granted bail after being detained by ICE while driving to volleyball practice.

Instead of performing with the Milford High School band at Sunday's graduation, Marcelo Gomes Da Silva was detained by immigration officials.
