President Donald Trump gave Larry Hoover, the former leader of notorious Chicago-based gang Gangster Disciples, a glimmer of hope this week when he announced the commutation of his federal sentence.
“Larry Hoover’s federal life sentences have been commuted by President Donald Trump,” stated Bonjean Law Group in a release to ABC News.
Former gang leader Larry Hoover, who attracted support from celebrity rappers, is one of several people who had sentences commuted by Trump on May 28.
