Scott Boras, the agent for Julio Urías, said the pitcher — the only player suspended twice for violating baseball's policy on domestic violence and sexual assault — hopes to resume playing.

Urías, 27, was arrested just after 11 p.m. PT and booked into jail around 1 a.m., according to jail records. He was released on $50,000 bond at 4:47 a.m. and has a court date of Sept. 27.

Urías, who posted $50,000 bail and was released early Monday morning, is due in court Sept. 27. "We don't know anything more today than we knew yesterday," Friedman said, according to The Athletic.
