The Phoenix Suns announced first-year head coach Jordan Ott’s coaching staff for the 2025-26 season on Tuesday, Aug. 12. Jesse Mermuys, DeMarre Carroll, Brian Randle, Chaisson Allen, John Little, Mike Muscala and Sean Dwyer are Ott’s assistants, with Mateen Cleaves serving as a player development coach/leadership assistant.

Changes abound for the Phoenix Suns as they look to rebound from a disappointing season. The Suns on Monday announced the final 2025-26 coaching staff of new head coach Jordan Ott. It includes both experienced play callers and former players who recently got into coaching.

Former Hornets coach Steve Clifford supposedly moved into the team’s front office ahead of last season. We’re not sure what Clifford actually did in the front office, but he’s moving back into coaching now.
