Ryan Day didn’t see any extra motivation from his defense, staff or heck, the rest of the team when Jim Knowles returned. Knowles was the Ohio State defensive coordinator last year, helping the Buckeyes win a national title.

James Franklin was asked earlier this week if he was concerned that he was losing the Penn State football locker room, that players might begin to tune him out after back-to-back losses. According to three players available this week, that doesn’t seem likely.
