Avelo Airlines begins deportation flights, sparking protestors to gather outside Arizona and Connecticut airports and an online petition calling for a boycott.

A national coalition has formed to protest upcoming ICE deportation flights by Avelo, a key airline that flies out of Tweed New Haven and Bradley airports

Avelo Airlines, a budget carrier, began deportation flights from Arizona on Monday under contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  Flights departed from the Mesa Gateway Airport
