Kerri Pegg, 42, exchanged her Honda Jazz for a £12,000 Mercedes C Class, a gift from Anthony Saunderson, a major organised crime boss currently serving a 35-year sentence.

Kerri Pegg, 42, had been "naïve and gullible" and taken advantage of by major Liverpool crime figure Anthony Saunderson, Preston Crown Court heard.

Saunderson was released from prison in May 2019 and in early 2020, was using an Encrochat encrypted mobile phone, used by serious, organised criminals to send messages and secretly communicate.
