Ninety-three Rite Aid pharmacies in Pennsylvania will close between Tuesday and July 31. The prescription files from all 93 stores will be transferred to CVS. In May, Rite Aid filed for bankruptcy for a second time to pursue “a strategic and value-maximizing sale process for substantially all of its assets.”

A phone survey of nearly two dozen Philadelphia Rite Aids found that the city’s last locations are set to close on Sunday, Aug. 24, with their pharmacy sections closing earlier. That includes the Eastwick location. There, Shivers said, stock is OK for a place about to go out of business.
