A Texas House committee just unanimously passed a bill that would prevent a total ban on consumable hemp products.

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has called banning THC products a top priority. The latest draft of the lower chamber’s THC regulation bill would allow retailers to continue selling edibles and drinks.

House Bill 186 would require social media platforms to verify users' ages using a commercial service and block minors from opening or using accounts.
