The rumors and reports swirling around Nick Saban's potential coaching return can be put to rest... for now, at least. Saban's own daughter, Kristen, took to social media Thursday to confirm that her father will not be patrolling the sidelines at any level,

Rumors began with former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy sharing that someone "in the know" and "notable" told him that Saban is not done coaching. That quote caught on like wildfire in Atlanta, with just about every coach with any connection to Saban fielding questions about his potential comeback during the week.

The 73-year-old Saban retired after the 2023 season, and currently works as an analyst for ESPN’s College GameDay. He’s given no indication that he might one day return to the sideline, but such rumors will probably always exist as long as he’s alive and healthy.
