The Veterans Affairs Medical Center held a community cleanup and flag placement Saturday at the Philadelphia National Cemetery in West Oak Lane. Ross DiMattei reports.

Over in Ewing Township, there was an unveiling of the first-ever Hometown Heroes Banner Project, which honored veterans and active-duty service members.

The platform will apply its anti-party detection technology to last-minute bookings for entire houses during Memorial Day and Fourth of July weekends. Last year, it deterred 600 bookings in Philly.
