Kentucky State Police have identified the trooper who was injured in a shooting at an airport in Lexington Sunday morning.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Nathaniel Danzy is facing charges in the murder of Zemondric Hall. At the end of May, shots rang out at the Bridle Creek Apartment Complex, leading one employee to call police. When police arrived, they say they saw Hall suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in his car. He died on the scene.

The Kentucky State Police says a trooper that was injured in Lexington on July 13 is recovering after a shooting incident. According to KSP, the trooper injured, Jude Remilien, remains in the hospital in stable condition.

Two women were killed in a shooting Sunday at the Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, after a man shot a state trooper near the city’s airport, officials said.

It’s been two days since police say Guy House shot five people, including a state trooper, leaving two women dead.

The idea that you’d be at church on a Sunday and be subjected to violence is antithetical to what our country is," Gov. Andy Beshear said.

A spokesperson at Sayre Christian Village tells LEX18 that Guy House's past connection to this community may have influenced his actions.

The pain of Sunday’s shooting is felt all across Lexington. For the people living in the 12th district, it happened right in their backyard.
