A 10-year-old British girl has made chess history by becoming the youngest female player to ever beat a grandmaster.

At 10 years old, Bodhana Sivanandan has become the youngest female chess player to defeat a grandmaster. She’s also the youngest person to earn the woman international master title, the second-highest ranking for women in chess.

Keya Jha has etched her name in American chess history by becoming the youngest female from the United States to defeat a Grandmaster in competitive chess.
