Over the weekend, six to 10 inches of rain fell over central Texas, leading to more flooding including along the Llano, Lampasas and San Saba rivers.

A flood watch is in effect Monday afternoon across the Washington, D.C. region as showers and thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rainfall move across the region. Scattered instances of flash flooding may occur during the afternoon and evening.
