ROSELAND, La. -- A fire at an automotive supply plant in Louisiana was 90% contained Sunday, but a mandatory evacuation order remained in place as crews tried to address remaining flames, law enforcement officials said.

The explosive fire in Roseland, Louisiana, remains active as of Saturday night. No injuries or deaths have been reported.

Roseland Elementary will not hold classes on Monday as the evacuation zone around Smitty’s Supply Inc. remains in effect following Friday’s massive explosion, according to Tangipahoa Parish School Superintendent Melissa Stilley.
