CBGB, the legendary birthplace of punk rock, may have closed in 2006 but its spirit is getting a jump-start with the CBGB Festival, presented in partnership with Bowery Presents, taking place September 27 at Under the K Bridge Park in Brooklyn,

Taking place on September 27th in Brooklyn, the lineup also promises Johnny Marr, Marky Ramone, The Damned, Gorilla Biscuits, and Melvins
