(Reuters) -Indian telecom operator Bharti Airtel reported a higher quarterly profit on Thursday, helped by a one-time gain and as tariff hikes continued to boost its per-user revenue. The company's consolidated net profit rose to 147.

Adjusted for Indus Towers’ financials, Airtel’s profits rose 121.3% on-year to ₹5,514 crore, with the full impact of the June 2024 tariff hikes coming through and customers moving to higher-priced plans.

Following the announcement of its Q3 results on February 6, Bharti Airtel’s share price saw an upward momentum in today’s trading session, surging over 4% in the early hours.

On a quarterly basis, net profit rose 41.0%. Bharti Airtel, which is 29% owned by Singtel, reported a 121.3% year-on-year (YoY) growth in net profit to $86m (₹5.5b) in Q3 2025 ended 31 December 2024.
