One of the suspects in Kim Kardashian’s 2016 Paris robbery has died. The French court confirmed at the beginning of the trial of The Kardashians star’s alleged attackers that one of the defendants in the case had passed away,

The reality star was held up at gunpoint in a Paris apartment in 2016, which she has said has left her “scared to be alone”.

More than eight years later, 10 people will go on trial in Paris over the robbery, abduction and kidnapping of the media personality and the concierge of the residence where she was staying during Paris Fashion Week the night of Oct. 2, 2016.
