Several people believe Bengals star defensive end Trey Hendrickson might sit out the final year of his contract if a long-term deal isn't reached.

This offseason, it’s been defensive end Trey Hendrickson looking for a contract extension and pay raise after tallying 35 total sacks in the past two seasons. Multiple reports indicate that Hendrickson is looking for north of $30M a year and that the Bengals have offered the defensive end around $28M.

The star pass-rusher has publicly expressed frustration with the Bengals on more than one occasion for what he perceives as a lack of good faith in negotiations about an extension.
