San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria on Friday announced he is abandoning the proposed homeless mega-shelter on Kettner & Vine.

Following the death of at least two people and several people being injured, the National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down in Morgan County and in Grainger County on Thursday.
