Colombian pop superstar Shakira will perform in Lima, Peru, this Monday, after cancelling a show Sunday night due to an abdominal issue which required hospital admission.

Colombian singer Shakira said Monday that she will resume her world tour and perform in Lima, Peru, on Monday evening, following the cancellation of a concert over the weekend due to a stomach illness.

Peruvian authorities threatened sanctions and hefty fines Tuesday as they investigated how popstar Shakira's medical records were leaked following her treatment at a Lima clinic.

An abdominal issue forced Shakira to cancel one show in Lima, Peru, over the weekend but she has returned to the stage once again. She was able to perform on the second scheduled night of her shows in Lima’s Estadio Nacional stadium,

Shakira was set to perform at the Estadio Nacional in Lima, Peru on February 16, 2025. The concert was scheduled as part of the singer's ongoing Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour.

Shakira had to cancel her Feb. 16 concert in Lima, Peru, due to a medical issue. She posted to Instagram that she had to go to an emergency room and that she had to cancel her appearance, CNN reported. Shakira said it was due to an abdominal issue, but did not disclose specifics, Deadline reported.
