Microsoft's new Bluetooth Mouse and Bluetooth Keyboard are available for preorder, including the keyboard's emoji key.
Microsoft describes the new Designer Compact Keyboard as “slim, narrow and elegant.” The keyboard has a two-year battery life, and thanks to Bluetooth capability can switch between three devices.
The $59.95 Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse, the $29.95 Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 Limited Edition, and the Universal Mobile Keyboard don’t necessarily need Microsoft to run.
Microsoft launched two new keyboard and mouse bundles alongside new Surface devices today. The bundles include an ergonomic keyboard and mouse, along with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse set.
Other non-Surface branded keyboards and mice include the Microsoft Pro IntelliMouse, as well as the Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Desktop keyboard and mouse combo.
Microsoft will be supporting a variety of USB mice, including ones with wireless dongles. Bluetooth and custom mouse drivers won’t be supported initially, though.
I may purchase a combo set if it's doable. I have bluetooth built into my laptop so that side works I just never have heard how hard it is to get bluetooth, especially with keyboard/mouse to work.
