After a decade with Nike, Tennessee is preparing to return to its former apparel partner. The school agreed to a lucrative 10-year deal with adidas this week, starting in 2026, which will make the Vols the company’s flagship university.

Tennessee is switching back to Adidas as its athletics apparel provider. UT and Adidas previously partnered from 1995 through 2015.

Tennessee is set to announce later Wednesday that it plans to switch back to Adidas as the school's apparel provider, sources tell ESPN. The Vols have been with Nike for the past 12 years, but that deal will expire in 2026. Tennessee was with Adidas from 1995-2014.
