The Los Angeles Lakers and basketball fans everywhere collectively held their breath when superstar Luka Doncic went down with an apparent knee injury on Saturday during Slovenia’s exhibition contest with Latvia.

As Slovenia continues its warm-up games for EuroBasket, Luka Dončić will play in just one of the team’s next two games.

The Basketball Federation of Slovenia also made an announcement about Doncic's status on Sunday, confirming that the Lakers guard is not injured. He is expected to join the team as they prepare for another friendly, this time against Great Britain.

While many basketball players are enjoying the offseason or gearing up for preseason camps, Luka Doncic, along with some other European players from the league, is fulfilling his international duties.
