The Mariners' three-series win streak ended with Thursday's loss. Seattle dropped to 67-55 with the defeat, fell 1.5 games behind the Houston Astros for first place in the American League West and lead the Boston Red Sox by one game for the top Wild Card spot. Both the Red Sox and Astros were idle Thursday.

The Mariners rallied to tie the game in the ninth, but their eight-game win streak was snapped when Jackson Holliday's walkoff won it for the Orioles on Wednesday night.

Dietrich Enns allowed Randy Arozarena's one-out RBI grounder in the ninth, but retired Josh Naylor on one pitch to earn his first save since Sept. 20, 2021.
