Officials are still investigating a shooting at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, that killed a police officer on Aug. 8. The suspect, Patrick Joseph White, 30, may have been disgruntled over vaccine side effects before perpetrating the shooting, according to multiple reports.

The DeKalb County police officer spoke about duty, sacrifice and running toward danger just five months ago at his police academy's graduation.

The DeKalb County police officer killed in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday has been identified as 33-year-old David Rose. He leaves behind his pregnant wife and two children.
