Neil Patrick Harris has joined the cast of “ Dexter: Resurrection ” as a guest star. Details about the “How I Met Your Mother” star’s role are unknown, other than his character’s name: Lowell. Production for Showtime’s “Dexter” sequel series began in January in New York. The show is set to debut on Paramount+ With Showtime in the summer.

He was seen on Wednesday (March 5) with a shaggy, tousled brunette hairdo while shooting scenes with co-star Michael C Hall in New York City. Harris was wearing a navy shirt layered under a black puffer coat, paired with dark blue jeans.

The 'Jessica Jones' and 'Uncoupled' stars, respectively, add to the already announced cast of Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage and several returning stars led by Michael C. Hall.
