LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An Arkansas-born fallen veteran is being honored by a NASCAR race team on Memorial Day during a premier race. Little Rock-born Staff Sgt. Alan Shaw is being honored by Cup Series driver Chase Briscoe for Joe Gibbs Racing. Shaw died on Feb. 9, 2007, from an explosion during a breaching operation in Baqubah, Iraq.
