In addition to his run in NJPW, Hikuleo has made appearances for IMPACT Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling. He is also a member of a wrestling family; Haku is his nephew, and Tama Tonga is his brother.

Hikuleo is the brother of Tama Tonga and his uncle is pro wrestling legend Haku. He began his in-ring career in November 2016 and was trained at the Team 3D Academy, the NJPW Dojo, and Fale Dojo.

Hikuleo was supposed to make his debut last year, but could not happen due to a hiring freeze in the company. His contract with NJPW expired in 2024, following which he joined WWE in July 2024.
